Louisa Boren Overlook Park

Corten steel, 1975. 16’ tall. Fabricated and installed in 1975, trees have grown up around this sculpture, adding to the contempletive and other-worldly atmosphere. Overlook Park is located near Volunteer Park in Seattle, Washington.

Overlook remains one of Kassandra’s favorite sculptures, who is pictured here at age 15.

Akbar’s Elephant

Stainless steel, 1999. 12’ tall. Installed in the Fox Tower lobby in Portland, Oregon. For over two decades, Akbar’s Elephant was sited in a bamboo grove at Leland Iron Works, where it appeared to be charging out of the jungle.
