Prints by Lee Kelly

Lee Kelly made many prints between 1957 and 1959, and the best of these are his colorful and flamboyant silkscreen prints. In 1958, as Lee Kelly began to exhibit his work professionally, he created series after series of silkscreen prints that related, in a very abstract way, to familiar landscapes. He grew up in the Salmon River area of Idaho, and the deep canyons and high meadows were a major theme of his work in the 1950’s. Unfortunately for Lee, the silkscreen prints did not sell, and have remained in the archive as almost full editions. Below are several offerings for sale from the archive.
